We have a teatime social each month to talk about the day and feature trip that we would like to go on for the year. 

June Teatime Social

We host a teatime social the second Thursday of each month, it is a great way to discuss what is important in the club and learn new skills to help when you are traveling. If you would like to join us, go to the homepage Signup to receive the Meeting ID and Passcode and get on the mailing list.

July Teatime Social

We host a teatime social the second Thursday of each month, but this month it will be on the third Thursday because we will be in Germany! So, come and join us on July 18th, the THIRD THURSDAY of July for our monthly social. If you have not sign up yet, go to the homepage to signup to receive the Meeting ID and Passcode. Lunch at Friendly

We will be ordering off the menu, please budget $25 - $30 for lunch. We will be working on ordering food from the menu within our budget including tax and tip. All day trips have a $25 fee for Admin. cost. Please signup for this trip by July 20th.

NYC’s Little Island Walk and picnic lunch

Little Island in NYC Pier 55 in Hudson River Park @ W 13 street, New York, NY, United States

We will meet at Penn Station at 11:30 am and walk down to the Hudson River Greenway. Bring your lunch for the picnic, I will have snacks. There will be a lot of walking! but it will be a fun day! All day trips have a $25 fee per traveler for admin. cost. Please sign up by July 20th.

The High Line walk

The High Line West 30th & 11th Ave, New York, NY, United States

We will meet at 11th Ave and W 30th street at the entrance to the High Line on July 29th at 11:30 am. Bring your lunch and watch. I will have snacks. Bring your phones and we will learn who to take a better photo. Please sign up for this trip by July 20th. There will be a lot of walking.

Green-Wood Cemetery

Green-Wood. Cemetery 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY, United States

Come join us as we take a trip though history at the Green-Wood Cemetery. Established in 1838, it is one of America's first rural cemeteries. Come join us for a walking tour of the grounds as we work on our map skills to location famous people buried there or where the Battle of Brooklyn took place. Please sign up for this trip by Aug 17th. All day trips have a $25 fee per traveler for admin cost.

Hempstead House

Come join us as we explore the wildlife and Diverse environment on a Nature walk. The price of the tour is $15 per person. Tickets have to be purchased in advance, so please sign up by Aug. 17th. Bring your lunch and water, I will have snacks. All day trips have a $25 fee per traveler for admin. cost.

Exploring Governors Island

Governor Island National Monument 10 South Street, New York, NY, United States

Join us at the Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street to take the ferry to Governor Island for an exploring this urban oasis in the harbor. We will walk around the National Monument and learn the history of the island, then have a picnic lunch. Bring your lunch and water, I will have snacks. The ferry is $4 around trip. All day trips have a $25 fee per traveler for administration cost.

The Vanderbilt Mansion

We will meet at the Vanderbilt Mansion entrance at 11:30 am on Sept. 21st. (180 Little Neck Road, Centerport, NY 11721). Bring your lunch and water, there is only a snack bar. The tickets are $10 per person. All day trips have a $25 fee per traveler for administration cost.

Look bird watching or want to try it out. I have the perfect place! Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge at 175-10 Cross bay Blvd, Queens NY 11693. Bring your hat, sun glasses and lunch and join us for a day of bird watching and walking. All day trips have a $25 fee per traveler for administration cost.
